The Text Repeater takes any word, phrase, or block of text and repeats it as many times as you want. Type your text, choose how many copies you need and how they should be separated — on new lines, with spaces, commas, or a custom character — and the result is generated instantly, ready to copy.

It is handy for filling placeholder content, creating repeated lists, testing layouts and forms, generating spacer text, or any time you would otherwise copy and paste the same thing over and over. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded or stored.

How to repeat text

  1. Type or paste the text you want to repeat into the box.
  2. Enter how many times to repeat it.
  3. Pick a separator — new line, space, comma, none, or your own custom character — and optionally number each line.
  4. Click Copy to copy the repeated text to your clipboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I repeat text?

You can repeat text up to 10,000 times. To keep your browser responsive, the total output is capped at about 2 MB — if you hit that limit, reduce the repeat count or the length of your text.

Can I put each repetition on a new line?

Yes. Choose “New line” as the separator and each copy will appear on its own line. You can also separate with spaces, commas, nothing, or a custom character of your choice.

Can I number each repeated line?

Yes. Turn on “Number each line” and every copy will be prefixed with its number (1., 2., 3., and so on), which is useful for building quick numbered lists.

Is my text kept private?

Yes. The repeating happens entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your text is never sent to a server, saved, or logged.
